It is our pleasure to invite all bachelor, master, PhD and graduate students for Student Workshop organized with connection to the 41st International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and THz Waves. Student Workshop will take place on 24th and 25th September 2016 at the Technical University of Denmark.
The aim of the workshop is to give a comprehensive overview of few selected topics connected to infrared, millimeter and terahertz science and technology. During the workshop students will get familiar with such topics as THz time domain spectroscopy, THz communication, nonlinear THz optics, THz metamaterial, near-field imaging techniques and applications of infrared technology. We asked our speakers to give not only overview of current state of the art, but also their vision of future and the direction their research field is heading. Attending this workshop can be helpful in understanding and taking active part in scientific presentations during IRMMW-THz conference.
You can sign for the workshop via the regular conference online registration process. An additional fee of 750 DKK will be added to your invoice to cover workshop costs. Workshop fee includes lunch and bus transportation between conference venue and the Technical University of Denmark both on 24 and 25th of September.
Registration deadline is September 1st 2016.
